I'm really glad I picked up this book! It is a great guide on how to use cognitive behavioral therapy to essentially retrain your brain. As humans, we have a whole lot going on in our minds. Our brains are so efficient, that they can learn a new habit, and often times it can become like second nature to us if we practice it enough. Cognitive behavioral therapy can help you not only interrupt this pattern, but also replace it with a better, more empowering alternative. You can also learn to create a better dialogue with yourself, and retrain your mind to have a more positive perspective on situations. Overall, a really useful book!

Great book on understanding how to overcome anxiety, wants more help on controlling negative thoughts or depression, i would defenitely recommend this book to anyone struggling with any of these or simply would like to know more on behavioral therapy. it talks about alot of great points like affirmations , and eliminating toxic people, i agree. really great read !

I've only just started reading this and got it due to kindle unlimited. I'm surprised no one else has commented on the need for additional editing or attention to grammar which makes reading or making sense of this really distracting and confusing at times. The content/message seems solid and decently structured, but as I read further I keep having to pause in order to guess at what the author is trying to say due to words missing or sentences being structured oddly. I've found this to be somewhat of a trend with many of the free kindle unlimited selection, so now I'm debating buying actual books with more solid reviews.
